Hijo de Jeremy Bryant (de profesión Chef) y mamá Marlo Jerm. La pareja creció en  Rainier Beach, Seattle  y se conocieron en  Ingraham High School . BENICIO tiene una hermana llamada Riley. Benicio canta desde que tenía dos años, y "actuó en todas las funciones familiares" desde entonces. Su padre le compró una batería cuando tenía cuatro años, ya que "Beni" había estado tocando los muebles dejando marcas. Cuando tenía ocho años, Bryant pidió entrar en la competencia amateur de Maple Valley Idol (MVI). Los otros concursantes eran todos niños de mayor edad, quedó en segundo lugar.
